The Swiss non-profit organisation ADES has been active in one of the poorest countries in the world since 2001 and is committed to preserving Madagascar's livelihoods through the construction of energy-efficient cookers, reforestation and education measures. The protection of massively endangered forests, overcoming socio-economic inequality and climate protection are its central concerns. To this end, ADES develops sustainable solutions in partnership between Switzerland and Madagascar. ADES is increasingly recognising the need for companies to get involved in sustainable projects. \n<\/strong>The voluntary CO2<\/sub> Much is written about the carbon market. Only rarely do projects operating in the global South get a direct say. ADES energy-saving cookers have been certified by the international Gold Standard for 10 years. ADES is one of the largest Swiss producers of CO2 certificates.<\/p>\n
