
As a non-profit organisation, ADES has been working to preserve Madagascar's forests and livelihoods since 2001. With solar and energy-saving cookers, reforestation projects and educational and awareness-raising measures, ADES protects nature and creates perspectives on poverty and rural exodus.
The role of Head of Communications at ADES is to ensure that ADES maintains standardised and impact-oriented communication with the public, association members, donors, board members, volunteers and employees in Switzerland and in Madagascar.
Your tasks
Communication strategy
- Further development and implementation
Brand identity, communication and corporate design
- Management of processes, projects and concept work
Publications
- Editing and content creation for annual report, bulletin and newsletter; for social media and blog
- Ghostwriting for management and board members, quality control texts
Website
- Further development of website
- Web support and coordination with external web supporters
Projects
- Tourism concept, film and research projects etc.
Guidance
- Expertise and leadership of communications team in Madagascar
Further tasks
- Reporting to management and the Executive Board
- Collaboration in the creation of communication templates for fundraising
- Maintenance of the image database
- Counselling and support for interested parties
- Representation of ADES at events
Your profile
You have experience in strategic corporate communications and in writing calls to action for specific target groups. Ideally, you have experience in the NPO/NGO environment and intercultural communication
