ADES experts for forums and lectures
The Swiss non-profit organisation ADES has been active in one of the poorest countries in the world since 2001 and is committed to preserving Madagascar's livelihoods through the construction of energy-efficient cookers, reforestation and education measures. The protection of massively endangered forests, overcoming socio-economic inequality and climate protection are its central concerns. To this end, ADES develops sustainable solutions in partnership between Switzerland and Madagascar. ADES is increasingly recognising the need for companies to get involved in sustainable projects. We can inspire and support you at your events with well-founded, credible and exciting experiences and our experts are well versed in various subject areas. A selection:
Development co-operation
Empowerment instead of paternalism across cultural boundaries. The balancing act between saving the world, commercial success, voluntary work and fundraising.
Intercultural challenges
Whether non-profit or not, working on different continents with different cultures and histories harbours opportunities and risks. ADES shows how teams from different walks of life can successfully develop and pursue a common vision.
Climate protection in the global South
How can climate protection projects generate added value for the local population and protect the local environment at the same time?
Voluntary CO2 Certificate market
The voluntary CO2 Much is written about the carbon market. Only rarely do projects operating in the global South get a direct say. ADES energy-saving cookers have been certified by the international Gold Standard for 10 years. ADES is one of the largest Swiss producers of CO2 certificates.
Madagascar
Known for its diverse culture, natural wonders and unique biodiversity. At the same time, Madagascar is one of the poorest countries in the world and forest loss and socio-economic inequalities pose existential problems.
